If you want to learn nitty gritty of Linux commands,then this is the book. After a while, though, you get tired of the game that came with it, so you go back to the store and buy another one. I ran across this book and opened the terminal for the first time. Learn you some Linux for tremendous good. He has an extensive background in software development, including technical support, quality assurance, and documentation.

Ninety-five percent of the content is useful for users of other Unix-like systems, but this book is highly targeted at the modern Linux command line user.
